Meet Your School Counselors
Mrs. Renee Cornelius
School Counselor Grade 6 and Grade 7 (M-Z) Hello! I am Mrs. Cornelius and I have been one of the counselors at Wilde Lake Middle School for six years now and I absolutely love working with the students and families at Wilde Lake Middle School! I also live in Howard County with my husband and two daughters who are both in elementary school, so we are a busy family juggling many different things just like you:-) I received both my Master's Degree in School Counseling and my licensure from Loyola University and have dedicated myself to serving students and their families through the trying years of adolescence. It brings me great joy to work with students every day and help them find their own unique purpose and voice. I cannot wait to work with you and your family. Remember, no worry or problem is ever too small to come to us with... Together, we can figure most things out, or at least come up with a plan! |
Mrs. Liza Bane
School Counselor Grade 7 (A-L) and Grade 8 Hello! My name is Liza Bane, and I have been a school counselor since the Fall of 2006. My experience as a school counselor has been at the elementary and middle school levels. Prior to becoming a school counselor, I was a teacher for five years working with elementary and middle school students. I grew up in Maryland and have lived here my entire life. I earned my Bachelors Degree from Stevenson University and my Master's Degree in School Counseling from Loyola University in Maryland. I LOVE working with our students and especially enjoy working in our school community. Whether we are virtual or in the building, I am here to help and listen. You choose what you want to work on, and together we can work to achieve your goals. I am looking forward to a great year working with our students, families, and staff! |
